| Description

The Handley Page 0/400 was one of the first heavy bombers used by Great Britain during the First World War. Suceeding its predecessor; the Handley Page 0/100, the 0/400 proved to be an effective and ultimately famous aircraft. Entering service in April 1918, the 0/400 was able to carry a single 1,650lb bomb often operated in formations of up to 40 aircrafts, firstly during the day, then later increasingly at night.

A Big Bomber

Recently brought this WW1 bomber and even though it's an old tooling it still stands up well to some more recent releases of WW1 bombers. Be warned this aircraft is big and has a multitude of parts so it's not for the first time modeller as it does require some skill, but it can be built. Just read build reviews before you start. The instructions give a dihedral of 14 degrees for the main wings this is a typo error, & the suggested assembly sequence could lead to problems. remember this is an old mould & requires some work, but when finished make an imposing model.
