The latest edition of Aerodrome announces the launch of a new series of blog features, which look more closely at the history of individual aircraft from the world of historic aviation. Our first subject is arguably the RAF’s longest serving aircraft and founding member of one of Britain’s most popular Airshow acts.

Aerodrome 78 also includes exclusive images showing the aircraft involved in an unfortunate incident at the 2004 D-Day 60th Anniversary Airshow at Duxford.

The actual 'Last of the Few' is Hurricane Mk IIC PZ865, also with the BBMF - which never saw service in the RAF until she joined the BBMF.

I thought I saw a light at the end of the tunnel, it was some ###### bringing me another loco!!
