@will.s

what is the h000 scale?

HO/00 are railway scales. HO = 1/87 & 00 = 1/76. The kit scales out at roughly 1/76. All Airfix AFVs were issued in that scale to match model railways at the time.

The 1:76 Airfix King Tiger and Cromwell are great.  I've just completed the Cromwell and was very pleased with how it went together.

Wiil, I'm sorry to hear that you seem to be a bit disappointed with the Tiger 1, hope you haven't given up on it. It is an old kit and not very accurate, probably more for people making it again for old times’ sake rather than for serious modelers. Still, it can be a satisfying build if you persevere, and ultimately it only matters if you're happy with it at the end. There's a close up of the back of a completed model below if it's any use. The joints on this are not perfect but don't look too bad.
