If the Spitfire is regarded as the most important British fighter aircraft at the beginning of the Second World War, its direct strike equivalent was the Wellington bomber.


In the latest edition of Workbench, we feature one of the iconic scheme options included with the forthcoming 1/72nd scale Vickers Wellington Mk.IA new tooling release, which presents modellers with one of Britain’s most historic aircraft.


Other highlights include an unusually flamboyant Falklands Sea King scheme and a review of the recent South West Model Show at Bovington Tank Museum.
