Description
The Jet Provost was introduced in the late 1950s and quickly became the RAF’s premier jet basic trainer. The T3 model, introduced in 1959, featured an uprated engine and an improved canopy design, offering the side by side seated pilot and pupil a much improved view. The Provost was a joy to fly, forgiving and easy to learn on, with many of the 1960s and 70s RAF front line pilots learning their trade on its un-swept wings. Its reliability and strength also added to its suitability as a jet trainer and the addition of wing tip tanks on the T3 also added to its endurance. The T.4 model introduced another upgrade to the engine but was otherwise unchanged from the T.3.

this kit is probably on of the best 1/72 kits in Airfrix's range. I was able to do this kit 2 days after an appendix removal with absolutely no burdens at all.

Fun little kit!
I'm a beginner and this kit was a good starting point. Parts fit together nicely and only minimal sanding was needed to smooth out the gaps. Struggled a little with getting the cockpit to fit but that is likely just my inexperience. Good choice for beginners looking to learn about the hobby.

A really fun build
My wife got me one of these as a stocking filler for Christmas. I was worried that the smaller size would mean the kit was more difficult but I've had an absolute blast building this little kit. The moulding is excellent - everything is nice and crisp and all the parts went together with hardly any need for any filler. The brush is decent and the paints are more than sufficient for the job. If you've not built any 1:72 scale kits before, this a a great one to start with. Highly recommended.
