Welcome to our round up of recent highlights from the Airfix website
While many of you will have packed away your Christmas decorations until next year, we here at Airfix wanted to enjoy the festive season one last time by looking back at December on the Airfix website.
We hope you enjoyed the month as much as we did, especially as we ran some special Christmas features, some of which make our highlights for December. Enjoy!
TOP PICK OF THE MONTH
Bristol Blenheim MkIV Bomber 1:72
Our Top Pick of the month is the Bristol Blenheim MkIV Bomber. A popular aircraft with aviation fans, this bomber represented the RAF with distinction at the outbreak of WWII. Cutting edge in its time, the Blenheim was arguably one of the first truly modern monoplane aircraft to enter RAF service.
FORUM CHRISTMAS COMPETITION WINNER!
Over the Christmas period we asked you to tell us, in 75 words or less, how Airfix and plastic modelling gets you and your family into the Christmas spirit.
We were simply blown away by the response, and after carefully reading each entry on our Forum, we decided that Army_Air_Force’s post was the best amongst all the entries!
CHRISTMAS IMAGE COMPETITION
We were definitely in the giving mood over December as we started another competition on the website, hunting for the best festive image. We always love seeing your images, but it’s truly special over Christmas.
The good news is that the Customer Image competition is still open so be sure to submit your images before the end of January to be considered. In the meantime, feast your eyes on last year’s winner, John Milne.
