| Description

The Jet Provost was introduced in the late 1950s and quickly became the RAF’s premier jet basic trainer. The T3 model, introduced in 1959, featured an uprated engine and an improved canopy design, offering the side by side seated pilot and pupil a much improved view. The Provost was a joy to fly, forgiving and easy to learn on, with many of the 1960s and 70s RAF front line pilots learning their trade on its un-swept wings. Its reliability and strength also added to its suitability as a jet trainer and the addition of wing tip tanks on the T3 also added to its endurance.

Good build nice model

One of the most enjoyable builds I ever did. The kit fits very well and the model finished looks great. The only problem is the orange decals, they are too thick. I use some aftermarkets on mine to increase the details. Totally recomended

Good build, disappointing decals

The kit went together in a day and it looked great, no fitting issues! The major let down for me were the orange decals, they are so thick and won't conform well. Even with decal solution...

Perfect Fit

This little kit went together perfectly. The precision really is outstanding. Being series 2 there are some refinements left out (navigation lights, turbine blades) but these do not detract from an excellent kit. The decal sheet is very crowded and lacks handling room around the stencils which make the process more fiddly than maybe be necessary. Still - Highly recommended.
