S1:600 HMS Victory

 Thanks once again, Patrick.

Well, here is what I've done so far on my new 'mini' Victory build.

1. carefully waterline the hull.

2. cut some ribs into the lower half.

3. plastic card plate with beams for the lower gun-deck.

4. laboriously open up all the gun-ports and remove the 'mush' from the bow ready for a new beak-head. Remove all the external lumps and bumps.

4 and 5. Result of a lot of time scratching away.

The idea is to make a reasonably convincing impression of an 'Admiralty Dockyard Model' in miniature. Don't know when the next instalment will be, but I'll post my progress as and when.

Apologise, the photo's appear in reverse order to what I downloaded, but it's clear enough.

Though I fly through the shadow of the valley of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am at 65_000 feet and climbing.

I'm pleased to say my photo's can now be found on the comunity page customer immages section. So far the only 'ship' contribution to be found there. I'll have to submit my attempts at presenting my humble offerings ie. conversions of the Airfix Hood, Repulse and Warspite, to their original configurations. Not sure wether to add them here or as a new topic. Will do that in the next few days, if I can find them!
