S1:72nd Scale Lockheed Hudson Mk.I Patrol Bomb

I built the Italeri boxing of the MPM Hudson a few years ago, and yes it was a short run kit, and construction was a little challenging, but nothing impossible. The only issue I had with the build was the Humbrol acrylic matt varnish going chalky in places. Unfortunately I can't post a picture as it's not Airfix.

I was going to post my finished plane as a comparison! But yes it's a challenging kit but as you say nothing impossible. It's just after several issues which I had overcome the build was taking far longer than planned and then I made mess of the wing to fuselage join and lost my mojo for continuing with the build. So it was scrapped for spare parts and now I can get my mojo back with an Airfix new tool kit!!

I still want a Hudson in my collection so might try it again in the future (unless Airfix do the decent thing and give us a proper new tool offering), and with lessons learned I will do things differently!
