SAirfix Flying Hours

3 posts
Hi
I have a large number of flying Hours but as I cannot join the Airfix Club ( and have not been able to do so for a significant time!) what is the point of collecting them? How long are we going to have to wait to get the club back?

I suggest you contact Hornby Hobbies. They are the only people who will be able to tell you when the Airfix Club will be back, to join / renew memberships. If not, then I can only suggest you keep checking the Airfix website regularly, until the Airfix Club comes back.

I stand to be corrected, but my understanding is that the series is designated in the kit reference number and that Series 8 kits are those with an A08 prefix.

So the required flying hours have gone up substantially. What with the apparent elimination of any discount the club membership value has reduced significantly.

I have seen that when you get your passpor, there is a fainted 1 flying token. Does that count as a token or is it just an example?

No, sorry it's just an example.
