Airfix have done it again, the 2019 releases again no new ships. just ship kits that the molds come from the sixties.looks like the aircraft and armour modellers are being sell looked after. Its sad a British company cannot make a model of the new British aircraft carriers even in 1/700 scale. When they built a model a few years ago in 1/350 and displayed it on their stand at Telford.

I'm not in to Classic Riggers (although I will admit I have a couple unbuilt) nor the odd 600 scale. Ive basically given up on ever seeing a new Airfix ship but even so I'm disappointed they have once again unearthed the 1/76 LCM alongside the newer 1/72 LCVP.

Time for joining the modern scales even if it means a partnership as they seem to have done with their return to 1/35 armour.

Still waiting for the 2018 ship re-releases!

Though I fly through the shadow of the valley of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am at 65_000 feet and climbing.
