In the first days of the Bundeswehr in 1955 they used some equipment from former RAF airfields in Germany.

G.W. Lacey made a lot of military vehicle drawings.

His sheet B 297 show the AEC Matador 0853 Air Traffic Control Truck.

It is  an easy conversion with.

It's a nice kit. I had made this times before too.

 

BTW, the version for an Austin K 6 with this fire fighting equipment is unusual and was only used in limited numbers afeter the war on some airports in greater London.

Correct is a Fordson WOT 1 for this version.
