Correction: The old kits are Frog, not Airfix.

Perhaps there is a filter for the UK? The seller is excel1, who is rated 100 % positive. The offer comes with 12 pictures of box, instructions and sprues. There are 11 bidders, the offer is at L 20.00 at the moment. The auction is terminated for Monday, 25th June, 19:42:54 MESZ. I have asked him, why he is not listed in the UK. I'm waiting for an answer.

He has a lot of old Airfix and Frog kits, including a Frog DH 20 Beaver. Unfortunately the shipping is expensive with L 9.50.

6T 03Std. means 6 days 3 hours.

You may copy the artwork and scale it up to the size you need. So you don't have to buy the kit. Some people have the projection of an expensive oldtimer on the door of their garage. I would prefer the front of the Mercedes 500K of 1934. What do you think of a mural instead of a giant poster on the wall?

Good luck!

(Thanks to Ratch and his ATF data base.)

Great idea with a different label. But where are the cars?

In my local shop (Munich)  the Mosquito in 1/24 is resting on the shelf since more than two years. And I have noticed the Typhoon (car door) more than one year ago and it is still there. So either there is no interest for British airraft, or they are too big, or too expensive. So I would agree with Ratch: They don't sell.

Thanks for your kind comments. The kit has indeed 5 figures, among them the commander with binoculars and the gunner. I had built the German torpedo boat S 10, when I was young and the kit had still the flag with the swastika on the stern. It must have been in the seventies. Because the quality at that time was extraordinary (and still is) I wanted the Vosper too. The RAF Rescue Launch was not so interesting because it had not so much details, though I must say the presented model is well done and would match the other ones very well.

This was an old kit and I hadn't expected that I would like it so much. With each step it became more interesting and there is much life on deck.
There were two problems: I managed to glue the arms that support the twin cannon and shield upside down, so now both stand to low on their platform.
The decals fell into pieces when I put them into water. The kit was a Humbrol product. So I took some of the spares box, not the right number but three digits. These were from a Hasegawa kit and I had used the alternative decals for an aircraft. They were fine, as if painted. But now they silvered and when treated with Decal Soft (Revell), they wrinkled. And I guess it was wrong to seal them finally with matt varnish. The colour HU 27 for hull and deck is very dark. I remember it as slightly darker than medium grey.
Anyway, this is a fine kit, highly recommended.
