We have a Workbench full of exclusive content in our latest edition, including the final update from our impending 1/72nd scale Vickers Wellington Mk.lA/C project and details from a visit to a special Ulster Aviation Society event, where we were present for the public unveiling of their fantastic new Royal Navy Phantom.

Great to see the VC Wellington and the box art looks fantastic! Airfix could be starting a great trend here...I can see a 1/48 “Sailor Malan’s Spitfire Mk II, or Bob Tuck’s Mk V or how about a Cheshire VC Lancaster, Edwin Swales VC Lancaster? These would be great limited edition releases I reckon!

Sorry to be picky but the article on the Workbench regarding the re-issue of Lanc B1/R5868 'A Bomber of distinction' needs to be tweaked as it currently suggests it has little future!

"There are some aircraft which simply cry out to be immortalised in the annuls of Airfix history......"

Kind Regards

Colin.
