The London Festival of Railway Modelling

The London Festival of Railway Modelling

The London Festival of Railway Modelling will be held on 28th and 29th March 2015 at the stunning Alexandra Palace in London, and the Hornby team will be there in force to answer your modelling questions, and show off some of the highlights from this year's range. Working layouts, traders, clubs, societies and expert demonstrations are just some of the features on offer over the weekend.

At 1.40pm on both days of the show the Hornby product development team will be giving an exclusive talk in the RMWeb Theatre, giving a fascinating first-hand insight into what goes in to the research and development of models in the Hornby range.

The show's main attraction will be the 40 British, European and International layouts, which have been selected for visitors to enjoy in a range of scales and gauges.

Visitors can also shop for all their essential modelling items with the 100 exhibitors who will be displaying their products, which includes models, tools, kits, parts and accessories. There will also be a number of specialist exhibitors, selling hard to source items and products for specialist scales and gauges.

For visitors looking to improve their modelling skills or begin to build their very own layout the fantastic BRM Village is the place to be. Here a range of advice, tips and superb demonstrations will be available across the course of the weekend on the latest modelling techniques, with the presenter’s on-hand throughout the two days to answer any additional questions. This is also your chance to exclusively view BRM project layouts that have recently appeared in the magazine.

Whether you're a beginner, expert or want to bring your family - there really is something for all to enjoy at this first-rate modelling event!
