Description
The Hawker Hurricane was the RAF’s most vital fighter in the early years of WWII. These tough, partly fabric covered monoplane fighters put in a valiant defence against the numerically superior Luftwaffe during the Blitzkrieg. Although slower than the Messerschmitt Bf109, and with a less destructive armament, the Hurricane was able to turn tighter, and absorb considerable punishment.

This is the go to 1/48 kit for a Mk.I Hurricane Out of the box the cockpit detail is superb, nicely engraved panel lines and compared to the Hasegawa kit in this scale the fabric rear fuselage is superior. Clear parts are very nice indeed and the decals are very nice. Construction is a breeze with clear and well set out instructions. I like the kit so much I have build 2 and have 3 more in the stash.

A really nice model Hurricane
Returned to modelling after 20 odd years and amazed at how much detail is on these models. Different options for open gun ports etc is a nice point. Found a spare part included to make a carrier based aircraft, though it was not indicated in the instructions. Only trouble I have had is with one of the undercarriage parts not wanting to fit properly, but apart from that a decent return to modelling.
