Description
By the outbreak of WWII over 400 Albion 3-Point Fuellers were in use with the RAF both in Europe and the Far and Middle East. Many went to France with the RAF in 1940, and suffered a similar fate to the vehicles of the British Army, being abandoned on the run back to Dunkirk.
Those that remained gave sterling service during the Battle of Britain, helping to quickly refuel fighters in between sortie, their three refueling hoses drastically cutting down the time needed.

Sign in or registerSolid period model with some small issues
I built one for a diorama w/Tamiya Spitfire. Well detailed truck model with a very nice undercarriage but with some manufacturing issues mostly due to seams on smaller parts being off by a mm or so. Also some of the smaller parts broke easily. That said...it looks great when weathered and in a diorama...I know this is a niche product but props to Airfix for making one.

Nice little kit
As the title says, this is a nice little kit. Very little flash, the instructions are very easy to follow.

Albion refueller - No proper Drawings
I just bought this model and while it is a good product and disappointingly there are no proper drawings to refer to.included and those supplied are too dark to see any details - Useless to any serious model maker.
