Description
The Tiger I was produced from late 1942 as an answer to the formidable Soviet armour encountered in the initial months of Operation Barbarossa. The Tiger I design gave the Wehrmacht its first tank mounting the 88mm gun. During the course of the war, the Tiger I saw combat on all German battlefronts.

Enjoyed making this with my Dad. Why are the front panels on the wings missing? Great little kit thogh.

Easy to assemble, a fun build.
This model dates from 1964. It does require a bit of skill to get the best out it, although it is easy to assemble. The tracks need to glued to the wheels to get the correct amount of sag. Adding a cupola MG ring, and a turret storage basket transforms this model. As does a good paint finish. There are better versions out in the market, but for the price, it's a bargain.
